Just looked inside our 10 year old Samsung (American Style) fridge freezer (wit ice maker).
Yes, it is very similar - not quite the same but I bet you are correct and there are some out there that are identical.
I received the spare motor vfr115116 from Penguin by next day delivery and it looks exactly the same as the Raritan one.
The web page on the Penguin site even said that it was the same.
More spares to find a home on the boat - somewhere.
