Ice! And a short run out!

Got to the boat this AM to find ice, floating on the surface of Bristol City Docks and the fire brigade boat taking great delight in roaming around breaking it up. Making the weirdest noise in the process!
Glad the engine bay tubular heater and the cabin oil filled radiator were in working order.
The diesels fired up with no hesitation and we were joined in the lock by a dory towing a pontoon to Pill Creek!
After exiting the river we blasted about aimlessly for ten minutes before joining the tale end of a queue for an early (or late!) lock in to Portishead. (St John as professional and coureous as ever)!
Brrrr it was getting cold on my nose!
If I remember I'll take the camera for tomorrow's trip back up to Bristol.

Graham, Not really, it was being towed by the rowing club (but with a mobo)

89p/litre (but it's a fractional amount, so it's calculated exactly at the time of purchase)
