We are cool, especially with a chilled jug of pimms at our elbow, see you in Mallorca or bay of rosas? Plus you've always been a hippie anyway.

Glasson basin is full of em at the moment - there's some kind of rally going on. Are we talking about the same sort of bargees - these are all dressed in clogs and waistcoats with red spotty neckerchiefs and the women all have shawls. They seem to be strong on painting buckets with all sort of daft designs in gaudy colours. There's a fair bit of 'eee bah gumming' going on.
Wouldn't exactly class them as hippies - any way - Jimi'd have to dress a lot smarter than he does to be a hippy - they'd never have him

It's easy. Get yourself an old ferro boat, some baggywrinkle, a couple of old bikes to put on deck, a whippet cross on the end of a bit of old rope, and an on deck cold frame with a certain sort of plant living in it. Then drop anchor somewhere near Cowes and just watch the choleric faces as boats pass you.

Re: Bay of rosas

Just to the east of Rosas is a rather fab little bay with a restaurant at the head of it. BUT i have total forgotten the name of theis otherwise fab spot. It might have begun with an M for "midge", but that was in September.

Separately, i am worried that you are being such a lazy git, and not moved at all from Barcalona from what I hear.

Re: Bay of rosas

I have moved from Barca, but only 30 miles! To vilanova. I have to have the boat pristine, before heading your way, she has to be gleaming!! Which I believe she is now, just two more topcoats to go on, should be done by thursday. But I'm waiting for 250 A4 stainless woodscrews to come from Germany (we don't make em' in UK) and they have to be A4, to refit all the stainless rubbing strips, then they have to be blended in, a two day, at least, job. I'm trying honest! But I also have to earn a crust, in Norway. I'll have a look on my chart program, here on the rig for that spot.

I wondered how on earth tcm was posting, as he's in Bilbao on his boat, and also that ccscott and TK were on thread which suprised me, then noticed the dates of posting - where on earth did you dig this up from?
