Ask PBO to sponsor the renovation. The French magazine "Voile" renovated a boat like this (a Sylph) and they showed with detailed photos how each task was tackled. They then brought it - the project -out as a special edition.

The final conclusion was that the cost incurred was much greater than the value but they had fun doing it - and then sailed it across the Atlantic.

Even with a bit of cleaning its looking better already, and you can see the potential - it does look like a fast boat.
