I really enjoy sailing

and the people you meet, especially the ones that then invite you to help them sail their boats in lovely hot places.

I've just got back from one such event, an out of the blue invitation to help sail another forumites Hallberg Rassy 48 from Marmaris to Split. We logged 1066 nm and took 6 days and 20 hours which includes the 20 hour stopover in Lastovo to check in to Croatia.

I'm now tanned and inspired for a nice long summer season of sailing.

oh and there is also the video of course, bit long but 'tis a weeks worth of filming crammed into it.

Lovely.

My dream is to sail to your neck of the woods. Love the images I see and the books I have read.

Even bought your pilot book. Just need to get a boat or get over there and hire one of the day boats that are available.

Haha, bad dad dancing is a special skill made even more apparent when tried on a moving deck . . . . . besides I was bored and it passed the time.
