I need to invest in some main armament.

I've been reviewing the weapons carried by Jim Lad (1 spiral super-soaker, + 2 pump action water pistols) and think this needs upgrading.

I've been thinking of building some form of catapult to fire water bombs. perhaps made out of some drainage pipe and bungie. The aim is to be able to put a shot across the comodore before he can get too close with his faster more nimble boat.

Any ideas or experiances?

well how about substituting the balloons for liver, not as much range or accuracy but that will make it more realistic ..... and of course it has a good visual effect on hitting the target, and of course its enviromentally friendly ... you can then use the party balloons for their intended purpose later in the evening
