I seem to have left my Yamaha Malta over the winter with half a tank of fuel in it... I'm sure I would have cleared the fuel line though.

Will it be any the worse for wear or can I just run it?

it will start & run ok.

Should be no problem at all. Just make sure you use a good quailty 2 stroke oil. I always leave mine in over winter, although winter for me is normally only 2-3 months.

It must have got pretty cold in the shed though? We had minus 15 at one point...

In my experience it is heat that taters the fuel. Leave the engine in a car boot for a few hot weeks and the carb gums up bigstyle.
