I have some hi-res pictures and a short low res movie clip of Mirabella V's launch... Anybody care to host them for me???

She was launched at about 12:15.. (according to the clock on my camera) Seems there was a little hold up (about 3 months and 14 mins by all accounts!!) but the outcome was good. She looks better in the flesh and on the water than I previously thought.

Thanks for the piccies.

She looks pretty big - I wouldn't want the job of cleaning the topsides on a regular basis!

I see there is a HR42 or similar in the foreground of one picture. Is that iangrant on Asterie?

She's the largest single masted yacht ever made, 75.22m long, 14 and a bit m beam, draws 4-10m, her Gennaker at 2000sq m is the largest sail ever made. I have heard that for the same money as she cost you could buy a small warship!!

All is not lost however, she is a charter vessel.. a snip at $250,000 per week plus costs.
