According to my Beken of Cowes calendar, I have not had a Monday. Mind you tomorrow I have my work cut out as I have to fit two days into one, yes you've guessed it, there is two 22nds and no 21st. How the hell did that slip past the proof reader?

My favourite was an application I received for a secretarial post where amongst her attribeauts she said that "she had a lot of experience in pubic relations..."

After interviewing her I wasn't so sure it was in fact a typo..

We once went out for quotes for shutter doors; the lowest had, under "terms and coditions", "firm prick held for six months". Surprising the difference a 'k' makes in place of an 'e'! And a typist showing wishful thinking, I suspect.

Perhaps this is a bit of scaninavian humour in the form of a pun. I think "fart" means speed! Perhaps a good compromise between comfort and speed!

Certainly in Danish (which I think is similar) you see "fart 3 knobs" written on harbour walls (speed 3 knots)
