First time for about seven years as I don't normally use it.
I got 2 x 2.5 ltr tins of TigerXtra for £130, a bit of an impulse buy.
I have just looked at the receipt - one tin is red and the other is white
It's a bit too far away to take them back, so do I paint one side red and the other white
or go for a girly pink?

Do one stripe in red.... then another lower one in white.... then another lower one in red..... and so on.

Not that daft an idea? You have bilge keels? paint them a different colour then you will know when they are in the mud... also easier to see when sailing...

That is no surprise - similar to your sails then :D

In a vaguely serious vein, you have an opportunity to avoid the usual problems of the 2nd coat by mixing all of one can with almost all of the other for the first coat and then adding the rest to produce a subtly different shade that you can actually see where you have applied it. You then have a bit left over for the pads, keel bottom, and the leading edges.

I quite fancy the stripe (horizontal) option, so is it white up at waterline or red?
Maybe diagonal stripes on the outside of the keels :)
I don't think I will need to worry about the second coat as I think 5 ltrs will only just cover a 10m boat.
