I am looking for a Power sports boat that allows me sail the trent and also go in the locks at the Meadows lane lock.
I am new to the cruising here in the UK, we looked at the Sealine S34 or Bavaria 33. We look at that the boat needs to be at least 10 meter and have a seperate & aft cabin. because i am a big man 6.4 tall, i like some space i know i need to bent my neck in most boats.
My wife thinks that the area on the Trent near Newark she feels missing out of area not be able going into the canals, she is not a lover of the sea due the waves.
Hope to receive some good advise.
Thanks Arien.

The upstream limit of travel for a Sealine S34 would be Trent Bridge , Nottingham
The canal above Meadow Lane is not really suitable due to low bridges and the canal is shallow.

Some sports cruisers can go through Meadow Lane with suitable modifications to allow the radar arch to fold.

There are many Sealines and other similar boats at Farndon Marina and Newark Marina and they are very suitable for the River Trent below Nottingham and to the Humber estuary and beyond.

No experience but a good choice for river use.
I believe the Sheerline is a Broom hull ? The same hull used by Haines for example.........

Finding anything for sale at the moment is a challenge. Some boats are selling very quickly.
