+1. this is where I bought all my led's, apart from a few from searolf. The only incandescent bulbs left on Englander are in the navlights. That's a total of 40 led lights, they draw next to naff all current, which is great as a liveaboard. They are available to replace halogen bulbs.

Some LED's come with an internal suppressor and fuse.
Others need an external suppressor and fuse.
I recently bought some from bedazzled and whilst the bulb itself didn't contain an internal suppressor and fuse bedazzled did include an external suppresor and fuse which was easy to wire in.

Mine came with external (resetting) fuse and protection from voltage spikes as well, but I think they may be inernal now. Bedazzled say they are the only ones providing this, no idea if that's true or not. I've had mine for about a year and half now without a glitch.
Back to the OP, this is one area where I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra if planning for long distance even if just for peace of mind. Getting replacements for anything can be a long involved process once away from the corporate west.
