Hydraulic steering repairs?>]

the ram on a nauticat 44 belonging to a friend is leaking+ scored shaft....the unit is not marked with a makers name.

Anyone know a firm who repair these things? the closest looking unit (it has 4 rods, "caging" the cylinder) is from the vetus commercial range, & these cost from £800 !#

or any ideas what make it might be? (circa 1980)

Ram repairs...

There are hundreds of companies who will repair a ram - these commonly need fixing on industrial/agricultural machinery. Suggest you look in Yellow Pages for "Hydraulic". Or you could try a Google search for something like "hydraulic ram" +repair +uk.
