hydraulic Drive

The boat that I have recently purchased (Shipman 28) has a Farryman inboard with an hydraulic drive to a shaft and folding prop. In the cockpit there is, what looks like, a plughole, into which i assume I should put some form of lube. I cannot find any other for of lube point to I hope that I am making the correct assumption.

Can anyone advise what I should use.

Unfortunatly I am unable to ask the previous owner and I have been unable to find any English assoc's to ask.

cant advise you myself, but from past experience, i find that suppliers of hydraulics to industry (try yellow pages) are very helpful, and more likely to give you a correct answer than the boatyard who has never seen one before. the system is unlikely to have been made just for that boat - it will prob be a collection of standard mass produced items.
