Hydraulic drive grease advice

Hi
Which type of grease is suitable for the final drive on my hydraulic gearbox?
There is a single grease nipple on the top, so far searching the internet has failed to come up with any answers. Any advice welcome

What does the grease lubricate? Maybe details of the make might help?

+1 need more info, could it be the shaft bearing?

Sorry for the delay in responding to your posts. I am almost sure that it is a Dowty hydraulic motor and the nipple is on the thrust bearing bolted to the motor, I have been advised that a general purpose lithium grease will be suitable. When I get to the boat next week I will be certain,
