Hi, I am on a 1990 Malo 116. I have a leaking hydraulic backstay and need to identify the type, so that I can get it serviced. Can anyone identify the brand/model? Thanks! Matt
On a Swan 431 with a leaking autopilot ram, I dismantled it and spoke to my local hydraulic service place. They came up with new seals that I could adapt.
The original builders were very helpful, but could not supply spares for an old unit. You tensioner might be similar to fix?
I cannot see in your photo if there is a manufacturer’s name on the pressure dial.
I have a Navtec hydraulic one on my American built J-boat and get it serviced by Allspars, Plymouth, who may be able to help you, depending on where you are located. The seals can eventually break down, giving rise to a leak.
