Just wondered if anyone has any experience of this type of anti fouling, I saw them at the SIBS.

Its a product from Finland (apparently they are not allowed to use copper based products because of the amount of copper in the Sea). This product is based on a ceramic epoxy resin applied directly to the hull ?

Had a budget cost of £3500 to anti foul my boat (Princess 42)

2 year guarantee on the application and they expect it to last 10 years plus ?

Phew, that sounds a bit steep. Here in UK waters, wouldn't coppercoat be a better bet? And should be well within that budget? Fully understand the need for alternatives to copper where copper not permitted.

Just looking at options, I was quoted £6500 to copper coat my boat by Hamble Yacht Services !!!! nearly fell off my chair.
Have a word with Elessar off this forum, he runs Arcantifoul. Also check out The Azi 46 thread or the Aug MBY where John ??? coppercoated the Azi himself (plus friends)
