HX300 reset to default factory settings?

Hi All,
I want sell my Standard Horizon HX300 handheld, and need to reset to unit to default factory settings.
I understand there is some combination of keys to be pressed that does this:
does anyone know ?

Resetting the CPU
If you are unable to gain control of the transceiver (or if
you want to clear all memories and settings to their facto-
ry defaults), press and hold in the MONITOR button and
VOLUME knob while turning the transceiver on.

I am not sure about that one as I do not remember a monitor button on the HX300 however if yours has been set to a country format IE UK or Belgium etc then it can be set back to international by button pushing. However pointless doing this if selling to a UK buyer.

Hi. I too would like to reset an HX300E and/or remove the ATIS number I've previously configured. Does anyone know of a DIY method to do this please? TIA!
