Hi
We took the plunge and bought a modem at the London boat show and have now got it hooked up to the computer and SSB via the microphone socket. We are receiving Weatherfax OK but have had no success in a few tentative attempsts at transmitting - although we have not pursued this as we are currently in a marina.
I wonder has anyone succeeded in getting the Husun 150 working with SailMail, or does anyone know of anyone who has? What should I look out for? The Husun describes itself as a RadioTelephone - is this in anyway different from an ordinary SSB?
I am qualified to use the SSB but am still very green at the e-mail side. All help appreciated.
