I am reliably informed from another forum that Hurley's Elsan point is full (two hours ago).
I've not reported it as the information is second hand...

I wonder how often they get emptied. I used Hurley three weeks ago & it was fairly full, such that it must of been emptied in the meantime, but did think then it wasn't far off being unusable. Do they still have the "bog barges"?

According to my source! (who is a visitor) the lockie - whoever that was - could have been a volo: said that it was pumped out by the 'Lavender barge'.
I thought it had been connected to the mains when the lock was rebuilt some years ago. Not that either makes much difference, it's still not usable!

Edit: Apologies, it's the main loos which are connected to the sewer, not the Elsan disposal -'cos it's hazardous waste and has to be treated separately which costs loads loadsa' money. You can't get a tanker across the lock gates, so the only bog barge has to come and pump it out. (Somebody's bound to say they've got more than one?)

It is definitely overfull and will be so, UFN.
