Hurley 18

Hi. Talks about the H22 and H 20 as "good sea boats" what about the H18? Would it be capable for offshore sailing? Any offshore trips allready made?

It all depends on what you class as "offshore" sailing. I was berthed next to one in Fecamp a few years back. It's owner was returning to the Medway after a trip to the channel islands. I'd think twice about doing the AZAB in one, but then Shane Acton went round the world in an 18' Caprice. I suppose if you're an ex RM Commando, you might think it unreservedly offshore capable, too.

The 18 is a scaled down 22...same style of encapsulated keel and hull shape....brilliant sea boat and very stable.
