I want to replace the running rigging on a Hunter Ranger 245, at the moment it has a 10mm spinnaker hailliard and jib sheet, 12mm main halliard and 8mm jib halliard. Does anyone know what thickness of braid I should be using

Many thanks

As said 8mm should be fine for jib and spin halyards. Use dyneema or spectra low stretch rope for jib. Not a concern for spin. The thinner rope will run easier through the blocks bu the thinner spin halyard may not be so easy to handle as 10mm when pulling spin up in a hurry. I use 8mm for spin and it seems OK however. good luck olewill
