They were on the boat. Handrails. Bloody annoying really as the were some shorter ones on the little coachroof. The headsail sheets would catch under them. I made some wooden blocks to fit under the forward ends, to deflect the sheet.
they were very handy though, being strong enough to use as 'hitching rails'.
