Hunter Horizon outboard well flaps

I've just bought a Horizon 232, which does not have the little flap for closing off the bottom of the outboard well when the outboard is raised.
She has obviously never had one fitted- is this worth bothering with? If so, does anyone have details?

I've never seen one with flaps.

I made a plug for mine - worth doing as it improves the performance and stops the water shooting up into the well and drowning the outboard eclectics!
