Anybody been watching 'Hungry Sailors' ITV 4-5pm.Dick and James Strawbridge have been visiting ports all along the south coast cooking with local produce.Next week they are going to the IOW,Hamble,Littlehampton and Brighton. If you go on ITV player you might catch last weeks episodes.A lot of it is to do with cooking but I found it entertaining having visited many of the places they had been to.

I've been trying to watch it, but the scheduling is rubbish - 4pm Monday to Friday. I'd rather they'd run it on a Sunday evening over a longer period.

That said, I've really enjoyed seeing them in places I've been to along the south coast. The Amelie Rose is a beautiful boat and some of the 'action' shots have been lovely. I'll carry on catching it when I can.

Seems to me to be all about cooking and giving free publicity to the suppliers of the fruit, vegetables, fish and meat that are used as ingredients for the delicious looking meals that are featured on the program.

Beautiful boat though :)

Been watching it from the start and really enjoy it, especially now it's so close to home. Now I know how to make honeycom the artificial way....slurrrp!
Mind you, I gag when he gets food caught in that ridiculous 'tache!!

Have watched it from the begining and reckon it's far more informative than the "3 Men go to" series. There's some poetic licence, as with all tv "factual" progs. but a decent watch overall.

We have sky + the series and are enjoying it, that guy's tache is a tad overgrown, reminds me of a certain marine engineer near us!

I got rid of Sky as soon as we got a Freeview TV. Not going there again. I've caught up with a few via the ITV iPad app.
