The 60th anniversary of the Oxford Ditch and their rally here to celebrate it seems off to a splendid start. One member was prompted to ask me did I ever have any problems with rallies. This set me pondering, over the 25 years I have owned Ashmount there must have been 400 rallies and events here. I can honestly reflect and say there have only ever been two reasons for me to have a word with a club. Both incidents were in their own way quite minor. One was a result of someones Grandchildren getting into mischief and letting go a floating pontoon. The other was accidental theft, at least I prefer to think of it as accidental.
