Hi all

I know there was a thread a while back singing the praises of this equipment but has any one used one alongside in a marina . Before I buy one can anyone tell me.

A. How do you know that the hull is clean

B How does the long handle follow the hull contour whilst alongside with the hull being relatively close in.

C Can it be easily used from a dinghy

and D Is it worth the £200 ish price tag ??

cheers

I share one with two friends.
You don't actually know if the hull is clean, but you move along the hull in widths of the brush. When I do it you see muck coming to the surface.
The end pole is angled so you can get underneath, but I let the warps off,bow then stern to make it easier from the pontoon.
I have never tried it from a dinghy. To do the side away from the pontoon I stand on the boat next to mine or reverse in to do that side.
I use the soft sponge but my friends who have Coppercoat use the hard one.
We think it is good and worth the money as we are sharing.
