Would I be correct in thinking that a boat with the HIN below would have been made in November 2000 and was a model year 2001 boat?

Google tells me it is a 2001 Jenneau Sun Odyssey 37.

My last 4 digits are H394, which seems to mean the keel was laid in Aug 93, and it is a 1994 model year. The builders invoice is 1995.
When I bought I assumed it was a 1995 boat but, since finding out the above, I have it marketed as a 1993 boat. I'm now wondering if I'm doing myself a disservice.
Should I call it 1995 as that was when it was commissioned, 1994, as that is the model year, or 1993 as that is when the keel was laid, (hull moulded)?

I would say built 94, commissioned 95. Def not 93.
