Our targa is out of the water at the moment for anti foul and polishing the hull has come up really well and looks great there are a few little scratches on the hull which I would like to get sorted does anyone know the colour of a fairline blue hull so I can get some paint to touch it up ?
Cheers

Suggest you ping Boats.UK, they will probably be able to help out. No longer the Fairline franchise, but still deal in a number of them. Helpful people.

I've seen a couple of blue hulls (Absolute and S/skr for the records, but I don't think the brand makes a significant difference) touched up very carefully, and using a factory supplied gelcoat, but I'm afraid in both cases the repair was pretty noticeable anyway.
Together with fading, that's the major drawback of blue gelcoat, which is otherwise very elegant on some boats, Targas included.
In your boots, if the scratches are really little, I'd consider living with them, because the repair risks to be even more noticeable.
Good luck anyway!

If they are not through the gelcoat you could try wet sanding and polishing to see if the come out or become less visible. It would take a pro to colourmatch a gelcoat repair. Believe me I have tried :)

+1 I have a blue hull the one of the big regrets I have with my boat, wish that I had it in White. The blue is unforgiving and a bugger to get back to its best. Dicing with danger for trying to match it back with other colours you could make it much worse

If you go to East Coast Fibreglass Supplies here http://www.ecfibreglasssupplies.co.uk/c-577-gelcoat-filler.aspx they do a range of coloured gel coats with standard RAL colours, one of which should match your hull colour. I've found that their colours match well with coloured gel coats, albeit that you need to take care to fair the repair back into the surrounding gel coat. Beware though, you may find yourself polishing the whole hull to cut it back to the original colour by the time you've finished. May be better to live with the scratches.
