My boat which is not antifouled was left in the water for three weeks at my marina.
After washing off the weed etc, i have found that there is a coating of salt crystals on the hull.
Does any one know how to remove the salt easily as the only way i have been able to removbe it so far is with a plastic spatula and warm water

Have you tried a hose pipe!!***??

Why is boat in water without anti fouling??

Big power washer will remove most things including the boat. If you try hard enough!!

lots of washing up liquid, swish up the suds and the salt will come off. Then rinse it all down. Then you can get off any clagged on marks with something like Viakal which removes the calcium deposits and storps the boat shining but have to make sure you use a very soft brus -ooh, here look at this stuff in a 5 litre container this looks decent stuff "use with caution" lets try a bit over here and Oh SHIT!....
