You are absolutely right Arthur. 2 of the last 3 boats I've owned have had dk. blue hulls. Super from a few yards away but any nearer then they show up allsorts of scratches etc. Our new boat's hull is a light cream colour - always seems to look good.

Just thought I would share my latest, went to Southampton Boat Show last September, looked at Fairline T40, sat down with a few salespeople, got up and walked away to consider....then......I gazed into in the distance, I had completely forgotten that Swordsman Marine were turning out the cracking Swordsman 37 and the stretched 40

So...a few glasses of wine and a nice chat with Willie Bewes of Transworld...

Swordsman Marine are currently building Swordsman 40 number 19 for me.

Much more than I ever expected I would be prepared to spend but couldnt resist.

Look forward to seeing some of you late July.....
