Hudl2 tablet from Tesco

It should automatically update Android. My Nexus tablet is running 4.4.4 now.
Not all suppliers of Android devices provide updates. Does Tesco?
Nexus is a special case - updates are (supposedly) guaranteed while the device supports it (eg. enough memory)
(I have a Nexus 7 on 4.4.4 too.)

This is my mark 1 and still quite happy with it other than this horrible predictive text
trio old on son
Don't ask but a variation on my e mail!!

Do you think they'll take my mk1 back under warranty?
Problem is, nothing wrong with it, but would like the mk2 version.
I bought a new Kettle (Russel Hobbs £30) from Tesco and 4 months later it stopped working, I took it back with the receipt and they gave me an immediate refund.
If your battery was faulty you could take it back..

Be warned these tablets are not as cheap as the OP mentioned. I said to her indoors " I'm off to Tesco to buy something" she said "I'll come with you" upshot was this tablet ended up costing me over £200!!!!

I get utube on my samsung android, so yes
It doesn't follow.
On my Nexus 7 (KitKat) I can play it in the youtube app if I use Chrome, but not embedded as you can on iThings. And not in Firefox - no Flash plugin.
I think this a YBW bug, and I'm seeking evidence.

Not sure if this is any help but I can never play any of Dylan's embedded YouTube videos with either Jellybean (Hudl 1) or KitKat (Moto G). Suspect this is a ybw thing as the latest chrome has flash support and can play bbc embedded clips on both devices which used to be impossible unless you used puffin or dolphin with a manually loaded legacy Flash.

It can be hard to tell whether an embedded video is flash or not - YBW serves both Flash and so-called 'html5' videos - see mypost here.

Flash is no longer supported on Android so a 'legacy' plugin will have security issues; I don't want it on my device. iPads don't have flash and most sites are replacing it - including youtube.

To complicate matters further the 'stock' or default browser on an Android device may not be Chrome but something simpler. What is it on hudl2?

I use Firefox, which has many advantages (for me) but a few disadvantages - and this problem with embedded videos is one.
