Hubbell Twist & Lock Plug

Any one know how the Hubbell Twist & Lock Plug top come apart, I need to replace the cable, but can't find any logical way to open it.

Does the inner section twist out of the body and mines just stuck.

Fraid not, had to replace damaged wires on mine and had to buy a new plug and cover.
Top tip when assembling the new plug and cover, use washing up liquid to help the cover slide over the plug.

If its more than 3 years old it almost certaiinly won't come apart, mine is about 6 months old now and the plug and cover are fused together

I had real trouble getting a plug opened, and I used a heat gun to soften the cover. That worked!

Also, have a look at the Hubbell product catalog that shows some cross sectional diagrams; that might help understand what parts need to be pulled/wrestled with.
