Towards the back it shows some daft bozo diving into a river to execute a river rescue or some daft nonsense.
When I did my RLSS training we were taught Wade Row Reach Throw. Same applied when I did my BCU Coaching Awards. You just don't dive into a river to carry out a rescue as you have no idea how deep it is nor whether there are any hard bits waiting to cave in your cranium.
Really do think the RNLI need to get a grip on this one.
