The forum is a bit of fun for all of us. However I've seen serious questions spin off into la la land simply because few peeps have the patience to read more than a sentence or two. Add a few G&T's into the mix and it can all get a bit ridiculous.

(edited to add) Just having read the previous responses on the page that my reply is on I can confirm that la la land is alive and well and not vacated its home on YBW.

Blimey! Not often I get to prove I'm right

That photo looks like those WWII ones where the censor has blotted out the rigging whilst disguising some top secret gizmo.

Are the fittings on a Sonic boom compatible with a Z-spars one?

I doubt it. You must have a Sonic Boom fitted to your Anderson 22. Any other inferior brand just induces too much drag and slows the boat down to ordinary speeds.

You plonkers. That's clearly a Foiling Andersen 22 rounding the downwind gate in a typical east coast regatta.

Are you sure? I thought Foiling A22s couldn't be photographed as a camera had not yet been invented that was fast enough in the field. Even those lab cameras that use to capture bullets struggle.
