Can see why .. the taxi driver obviously was a man of taste protecting a colour sensitive nation!

<hr width=100% size=1>.. whit way roon should it be again ..

Well I like it and think that the Fiat Coupe is a modern day classic.

Shame about the "body modifications" by your fare charging pal....

Nick,
For Paulines sake this is boys talk.

It is the 20 valve turbo and to my mind is the nearest you can get to a Ferrari at an affordable price.

The turbo was the model of choice and I remember it being described in the car mags as an "affordable Ferrari" .

Did I dream this but was it designed by Chris Bangle of BMW fame?

Very quick but clearly not quick enough to escape taxis......

Hope its mended soon

Re: ferrari

oh yes, you're right. I once went down to plymth for a drive in a princes v65 and the saleman had one of those. I followed him to the pub in a 456. He was a bit shaken and green-eyed, so i was v nice about his car.

Mind you, bet the aircon and windscren wipers are better on the Fiat? Also, if you leave the car for 2 weeks is the battery flat? Course not. And now you have the creaky doors same as a ferrari too!

Re: ferrari

I don't know about the air con etc. Don't forget it comes out of the same company as the Ferarri. Certainly as soon as winter comes the electrics (things like the central locking) gives up but it does do 151 mph and to 0-60 in 5 secs so I can forgive it and the Pininfarina design is wonderful. There aren't many cars that can out do it and certainly not 2 litre ones.
