Shouldn't the designer taken this into account? After all no yacht is going to sail without a crew.

Of course. So when the boat is sitting with no one on board it should look bow down or at least stern up. I accept this is not so obvious on a larger yacht where crew weight might be a smaller % of the overall

have you two guys got some sort of anti gravity for your body weight then?
how do you fry an egg or read a spirit level if you are not on board, and your weight affecting the trim?
Firstly, the galley on the 344 is quite near the c of g so it will not make a lot of difference, but there is a simple way to do this with two people. with noone on board you visually assess the trim level.
One person then goes on board and moves forward or aft till you agreee that person is not affecting the trim. You can then pass temporary ballast on board that is stowed untill you get the trim you want.
The whole process is a bit of a waste though. What matters is the trim level when the helmsman is in position with "normal" on board, not what the boat looks like when unoccupied.
