One of my mounts is fooked. It came out with the engine rather than being worn out.

I see that ASAP do a fine array of them and I was wondering if there was any special criteria or calculation for selecting among them, other than weight? I read that "Shear" are better than "Compression" types.

These perhaps:

Engine is a Vetus M204, 11hp weighing about 95kg.
Existing mounts are 5/8th Inch.

I can't answer your question specifically. However, my Perkins has two different hardness of elastomers. I believe the aft mounts are a harder type than the front mounts. This is to allow the engine to vibrate evenly as more weight rests on the aft mounts. It was easy for me as I just ordered the replacement parts using the part numbers but the bloke at the shop advised that this was the reason for two part numbers. Dimensionally they were identical. My engine is a bit of a lump and has quite a steep installation angle.

I was looking at some engine mounts on ebay which seem quite a bit cheaper.
They seem to specify them on the weight of the engine. They are in Boat Parts and Maintenance.

On my MD22 there is a number stamped on the flat bit, in my case, 45. This is the "Shore" hardness. So go to any of the sellers, check the size of the bolt holes and studs etc and then choose the one with the shore hardness the same as the old ones.
