After quitting sailing about 4 years ago, In a moment of rashness I bought a steel boat project. I’ve now discovered the deck is rotten so want to strip the boat of her equipment and then scrap her. She’s lying ashore and costing me £300 a month in storage fees which I can Ill afford. But HOW do I go about disposing of a steel 32 foot hull?

Steel should be much easier to scrap than GRP. Get a Stihl saw and a big trailer... at least you'll get some money back when you weigh it in.

Whether there's any value in the scrap may depend on how close you are to a processing plant.
Are there any boatyards nearby which deal with fishing boats? They would know about scrapping stuff.
What is the ballast? steel/lead/concrete?

Should be possible to get on a flatbed, scrap at present maybe £100 a ton for a car, so boat being less mixed materials might be more, so worth it for a scrapper with a hiab. Is it over fifteen tons, or can you get it down to that? Our local hiab lorry can load that if it's alongside between the outriggers, about ten outside the feet. All down to delivery distance really. They might even pay you.
