How to run opencpn in background?

We want opencpn to run in background on windows 10. Opencpn does not show in background apps.

I'm running 5.6.2 on windows 10 and I just click to minimise the window in top right hand corner if I want to do something else. Sorry if I'm not understanding what you mean by "background" but that's the way I do it.
