How to remove wooden headlining, advice please

There is a wooden panel on each side of the ceiling in the saloon of my Jeanneau 36i.
I need to remove it to get at the nuts that hold the genoa track onto the deck (these are loose).
But I can't get it off ... even pulling down on it hard ...
I've removed 5 screws that fix it to ceiling but I think it remains stuck by a layer of rubber / sikaflex-like sealant.

Any ideas please?

Are you sure that the side trim is not holding the head panel in place? It may be that the "ceiling" panel was fixed in place first and the side trim fixed after. That how it was in my forecabin.

Some of the headlining panels on my Jeanneau 35 (previous model) are held on only by clearly visible self-tapping screws, and others by quite strong velcro strips on the upper side. Sometimes you have to remove things in a certain order, taking off more than you think to get at something. But usually Jeanneau do make it eventually possible to get at major fixings, or at least they used to.

No, I think the side trim is fixed to head panel. The head panel is then fixed to the grp moulded roof .. I think

Thank you. Yes, usually things can be taken apart. Unless one of the "artisans" who commissioned the boat got a bit heavy-handed with the sikafex
