There are a few small scratches on the bleu gelcoat of my nearly new boat .
A tin with orriginal gelcoat (or Paint ?) was deliverd with the boat.
Is there a way to remove or polish these scratches ?

light scuff marks will polish out with a cutting compound but be sure to give the polished area a good wax polishing afterwards.

Deep scoring will require filling with a gel coat filler. Fill level then cover with self adhesive tape as it will remain tacky if air is not excluded. With practice you'll get the filling correct otherwise any overfilling will have to be removed with progressively finer grades of wet and dry followed by a polishing compound then wax.

Hey,

thank you all for some simple but practical and usefull advice !
best regards and best wishes
