I have been looking at a second hand Bavaria 41. It has a fake teak deck. The teak effect is achieved with a teak veneer over plywood. The sheets have de-laminated and lifted off the fibreglass deck in places. The deck needs redoing.
How easy it to remove this plywood layer? I assume they are just bonded on.
What will it be like underneath. Will the teak have to be replaced or will the deck clean up and be usable?

I think the only way is to lever it off, what will be underneath will be anybodies guess. Replacing it well you could replace it with more of the same or teak. A nice bit of insight to the job can be obtained at
