How to make my windows look good.

I have just bought an Offshore 8m and the windows look quite tatty. It's the inside that is the problem; they are really roughly and unevenly cut and have lots of bolt ends sticking out about 5mm. (I have a photo but dont know how to upload it!).

I would like to put some sort of surround on them. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do? Can I buy anything ready made in wood/metal/any other material?
