I am wanting to display display sea talk data (ST60 wind, depth, speed) on a pc screen and am hoping to take a feed from a seatalk interface box that I have and hope to wire it to the computer to act as a repeater down below.

I will probably also purchase a basic software (eg visitmyharbour) and get a position fix from a Bluetooth gps so I can do basic passage planning but can anyone advise how to get the seatalk data into the pc and what software I can use to display this (better still at the same time as the chart)

Thanks in advance

Navmon PC is your friend. Displays and routes NMEA data.
You will need a hardware converter from seatalk to nmea and a serial port or serial to USB converter.
I use Neptune planner with Admiralty charts, and also simultaneously route the data to any web browser with some home built web pages. Navmon does have an inbuilt server which works with most of the proprietary apps.

If the "Seatalk interface box" is one of these:

then you already have the NMEA converter and just need the serial to USB bit.
