Hi there

I did some work last summer and took my windows off, since putting them back on they now can condensation between the panes. It is two bits of plastic bolted on to steel, with the outside one sealed all around the edges the the rubber stuff you put windscreens on with.

How should I have put them on if I did it wrong... and also can anyone suggest how to fix? I’m thinking three little holes drilled in the bottom of the outside pane.

Take them off again, dry them, and put them on again in the middle of winter when there's a bitterly cold northerly airflow with a low RH.

The condensation is most likely from the moist summer air you sealed inside. If you're going to drill holes better to drill them in the inner pane. Any on the outer pane will just let rainwater or seawater in.

Holes in the inner pane will allow warm moist air from the cabin in!
