I am planning to fit removable storm shutters made from Lexan for the wheelhouse windows of my Colvic Victor 40. Does anybody know of a good (and simple) way of doing this? They should be easy to remove and using standard fixtures for attachment.
Any suggestions?

I made some some years ago. I had pieces of plywood cut to be slightly larger than the various window apertures, I drilled a hole in the middle and put a bolt through it long enough to go through a piece of 2 by 1 wood which would span the window apperture. This had a wing nut on it.
If I had ever needed to use it, the theory was that the storm board could be pushed through the place where the window had been to sit outside, the 2 by 1 made a strong back inside and was tightened up with the wing nut. The storm board had some foam rubber glued to the inside to try to impove the watertightness.
I never had to use it, fortunately, so I can't say how well it would work in anger.

I would fit channel around the sides and bottom of the existing window so the Lexan slots down into the chanel and have a simple fixing at the top (to stop them sliding out should you invert!!).

Whatever you decide on they should be easy and quick to fit.

PS. Nice boat!
