I have antifouled many displacement hulls but having foresaken the cloth and bought a planning boat, I would welcome advice on what to use to apply antifoul please. With all those running strakes is a mini roller best? If so are the BQ Wickes etc brands adequate. Thanks

If you,use the foam ones do not lay on too heavily or they break up, the woolly ones are best and not a great deal dearer, throw away after use.

If you have an outdrive leave a gap between antifoul and the transom shield. Normally the gap is about an inch.

Right - that's what I shall be doing today. It's almost two years since it was last done, so I have to bite the bullet and lay out ~$2K.
