Ok I had all my rigging replaced a couple of weeks ago. used a good rigger to avoid any problems!!. i had ordered an inner forestay with a 6mm stalok eye on the end. well I was invoiced for one but was not provided with one. Immediately paid in full with not so much as a thanks. I keep forgetting they are doing me a favour, But I always thank my customers for the work. Anyway so I went on the hunt for a 6mm stalok. Found one at Allspars for nearly £90, yes £90 pounds. I declined their kind offer after already being billed for one but not getting it. I then went to another rigging company operating out of a Hamble based Marina and was sold it for £31. Is there no pattern on pricing, do some just try and get as much as they possibly can fleecing people.
Id paid a substantial price for my rigging and quite frankly was not going to be fleeced again out of principle and the fact I was running out of money. All anyone seams to say is we are so so busy, well arnt they the lucky ones.
