this is what she would have looked like I guess if a pic had been taken of her around when she was built.

We have one of these (not that one) based in Eatsbourne. Extremely pretty. Saw another (again not that one) in Cherbourg. How old? Neither of the ones I've seen look "old" at all. My understanding is that they are replica Dutch barges. I could be wrong.

Regards, Jeff.

hi yes it is a lov ely boat . my friends mate as one here in aussie that he got over from holland shes a big lump of a boat . this one was built in 1902 so they say its so solid and he is going to sail it round the coast .of interest his mast is a giant fresh water tank .i will see if i can fined him and find out more regards dave

There were a couple like that when I was last in Woodbridge (April 2005), both were dated back to approx 1900.
I would love to go on one,bet she would be really stiff in a blow!

Dunno how old, but she's definitely of a dutch design, Botter I think, but probably wrong, maybe even a platboddem (sp) but you see hundreds of them in holland on the ijsslemeer and elsewhere. Dont know if this is a replica or not. Some were built in wood, but most in iron, often rivetted.
